Well, why would it? Keeping track of things like this, of us in general...that's not its job. I've looked into a few of the Legendary Pokémon myself, and there are so many oddly specific ones that I'd be surprised if the right hand knows what the left hand is doing at any given moment anyway - from the look of it, it's categorically not the creator's job to know what its creations are doing, as long as they keep on existing.
