007. [Video/Action for Olivine City]
Mm, and we were doing so well, too...
[The sentence is soft, something that's not necessarily intended for the broadcast when the feed flickers to life, and it takes Tsukiyama a moment to get it propped up correctly; he's offering video again this time, taken from inside one of the cafés in Olivine City. He's at a corner table, near one of the large windows overlooking the ocean; what he was probably muttering about earlier soon becomes obvious, given that the weather looks hideous out there, all thunderstorming and such.
He seems more than a bit subdued today, but he's got a book laid open on the table in front of him, as well as the usual coffee and something that appears to be...is that cannoli? It looks like cannoli. Either way, he's obviously trying to shake off whatever's bothering him, though his clothing choices are likely giving him away again – they're darker, not quite monochrome what with the dark maroon shirt that's doing a great job of clashing with his hair, but he's got a black blazer on and open over it, and the pants (not that they can be seen) are likewise black and surprisingly don't have any sort of stripes or cutouts or...other ugly bedazzlements on them anywhere.
He smiles a bit when the feed finally settles, though.]
Ah, good afternoon, messieurs et mesdames, it's been a while since we've spoken – I've missed all of you, hopefully the day finds you well, even if the weather is...well, decidedly not.
[His gaze flicks rather pointedly toward that window; as if on cue, another peal of thunder booms out over the water, shortly after a thin flash of lightning hits the water as if to say "and fuck this magikarp especially."]
The cities here are so strange, they're absolutely alluring if you allow them to be. Everything is beautiful here, it's peaceful; really, I think this is the second one that I've come to and never wanted to leave as a result.
Sometimes I have to wonder if that's the point, if that's the reason people seem so content with their lives...luzigando, it's very easy to feel charmed by this place. And now that it's offering us reminders from home as well, things we can keep, so shortly after giving us one of those strange weekends – it's as though something here wants us to feel comfortable.
[He's quiet for a moment after that's out there; the slight smile still hasn't left him yet, but he seems a bit distant anyway.]
Desolé, desolé, I don't know, it's possible I'm just in some sort of mood...those weekends tend to be more difficult than not, they're vile things and they always leave me somewhat melancholy. But just the same, there are things about this place that don't sit well with me.
[He seems to shake himself out of it once that's out there, though, the usual brightness in his eyes making itself rather known again.]
Ah, not that it's all bad, however! There are some things this place has given me, with regards to finding the experiences I've been looking for – for one thing, I think I finally understand what Brillat-Savarin was going on about.
[...YEAH THAT'S DEFINITELY CANNOLI IN FRONT OF HIM AND THANK GOD ALMIGHTY IT HAS FINALLY SOLVED THE MYSTERY
HE UNDERSTANDS WHAT THE BIG DEAL ABOUT CHEESE IS NOW
obviously this is totally worth whatever this place is doing to him oh my god fuck his life so hard]
[ACTION]
[Of course, if you're looking for him for whatever reason or (more likely) you just want to get out of the damn rain, he's going to be in that café waiting out the storm for a while; usually he'll be reading something, though he won't be opposed to actually putting the book down and keeping company with someone.
Granted, it's possible that a pair of his Pokémon will find you first, because Tsukiyama is still Literally The Worst Babysitter with regards to paying attention to anything they're doing; he'd intended to bring one of them, a Skitty named Ceci that seems to have glommed onto him after fourth wall, to get her out a bit more, but apparently Zacharie, his Zorua, decided that it was a great day for jealousy issues and so he wasn't going to have any of this going-out-alone crap.
Of course, part of the problem seems to be that Zacharie just...hates Ceci's face, or maybe her stupid getup (because of course she gets a stupid getup, just look at her). Ceci, on the other hand, has no idea what she did to incite the sparklefox's ire, so basically we've got a really pink cat in a really stupid outfit that's going to be taking refuge behind the first available thing. Probably your legs. Um. Sorry?]
