I still think it's arrogant, in a way - deciding whose lives have value and whose do not, placing anyone higher or lower on that scale based on criteria they didn't agree to as opposed to their own merit, things they've earned. At the same time...I don't know, it's a bit sad, isn't it? To think of things that way?
