005. [ANONYMOUS TEXT]
Feb. 10th, 2015 07:16 pm[And late in the evening, there's an anonymous post that goes out over the network; it's not utterly unhackable - far from - though any successful attempts to get at the 'Gear ID will return a profile for Ace Trainer Sinclair.
So either the NPCs are getting bold, or somebody got their ID stolen.
Regardless, the message seems cheerful enough, anyway, if a bit odd in nature.]
Hello!
I know that most of our communication with Team Rocket is one-sided; you post some sort of war declaration or something else talking about your plans and intentions, or sometimes you anonymously harass us, and we respond accordingly. Hopefully no one minds if I break the pattern a little...? I have a few questions for you, you see.
Do any of you feel as though you shouldn't be there - as though maybe you were sorted into Team Rocket by mistake? Or do you enjoy what you do and like being a part of the group? What sort of draw does staying in Team Rocket have for you?
You can send a message to this device privately and/or anonymously and I won't mind, since I don't really care about outing anyone. That's the heroes' job, not mine; I'm just curious about all of you. I would like it if you would give me a name to call you when you respond, but it obviously doesn't have to be yours; I just want to be able to call you something that isn't "you," because that's a little impersonal.
That's all for now. Your time and any answers I may get are appreciated!
[Of course, non-Rockets are free to answer him as well, if for no better reason than what the fuck are you doing and why do you think this will accomplish anything, but you know what, the weather has been made of pure unadulterated "fuck you" since it's been snowing and in the single-digits, and he has a network, some very excellent coffee, way too many blankets and far too much time on his hands. He can amuse himself like this for as long as he needs.]
