The weather was nice out so I went on an adventure and I found a dancing game!

[...Well, that picture may not have been what she intended, but it's enough to get the point across - that point being "oh dear, Miss Everett has discovered DDR." (DDE?) Let's see how much "oh no" is going to result today, because this is already admittedly rather endearing.]

I am watching other people! I'm very glad to be writing to you instead of speaking, it's awfully loud in here.

I haven't any tokens to buy a round yet but I think I see where I might go to get them.

Well, if it looks like something you want to try, I think you should; I admit I'm curious about how you'll find it.

I think I will, when the other dancers are done playing. I heard a song I recognized so perhaps I can find that one again.

Chopin's Étude in C minor! It's quite distinctive, even when played on...whatever instrument it's been played on in the game. Not the piano, certainly.

I can imagine it would be, difference in presentation aside; the selection screens should let you hear some of the song before you choose them, if I'm remembering correctly.

I've actually never played that game before, though I know some friends of mine like it; perhaps I'll try it sometime.

...That's actually why I've refused to play with those friends every time I've been asked, if we're both being completely honest with each other about this.

...When you come, would you mind terribly to bring me a ribbon, so I might tie back my hair? I'm afraid it might, er, fly around, with all the movement and such.

It has on some of the men that have played, at least.

[He will likely also note that Bananamom is waiting patiently outside, being equally difficult to miss on account of...Bananamom, but clearly having chaperoned her girl to the Game Corner and resigned herself to being unable to follow her in, both for purposes of personal independence and because she's a little too big to be wandering around in there on her own.

As for Meridiana, who is much more door-capable, she's in the little foyer where it's warm but still with a good view of the street, and she brightens immediately when she spots that screaming lavender.]

[Well, Bananamom will receive pats if she's feeling receptive, and even if not she will be informed that she's looking quite splendid today. For one thing, there isn't any sense in being rude to the not-mom of the girl you're here to spend time with; for another...well, she did take it upon herself to make sure he was getting enough damn potassium for almost a solid month, and there's something to be said for that, surely.

...She tried it, basically. Four for you, Bananamom.

That said, good lord Meridiana is enthusiastic today, and he does smile at that, without really realizing.]

Hopefully I didn't keep you waiting for too long...?

[He reaches into his pocket as he says it, retrieving the ribbon she'd asked for between his fingers and offering it to her.]

No, not at all! Oh — thank you, I appreciate it very much.

[She takes the ribbon when it's offered, beginning to fuss with her hair and, quite frankly, looking a little pleased for the excuse to do something with her hands.]

...Really, I was...a bit glad for the excuse to come over and wait by the doors for a spell, anyway; it does get rather overwhelming in here after a while, what with all the light and flash and noise.

I'm actually surprised to see you here - not for any sort of bad reason, of course, it's just not somewhere that I would have expected you to find interesting.

Oh! Well, you see, on Valentine's I met a most pleasant girl who sent me a game of sorts as a gift. It's a bit complicated an affair, but there's dressing-up involved, and the better one does at it, the lovelier dresses become available.

[...It's a flash game, it's not exactly Call of Duty here.]

So I thought...well, while it was a bit nicer out and all, that...perhaps I might see what other games there are, and try some, so that if we talk again I might have something to add to the conversation, myself.
