[It's early and Tsukiyama looks...more than slightly disheveled, and he isn't too thrilled about letting anyone see him like that; his hair is a bit mussed and the sleeping conditions haven't been ideal so his clothes are kind of unkempt, but it's clear that he's at least put effort in to not look like hell today.

After a long amount of deliberation, however, he decides on using video anyway; it's probably best to let Naki see him.]

Monsieur - I don't know what I expected when you said that you wouldn't stop bothering me if I didn't call, but it wasn't this.

[His tone is light still, but there's clearly some effort being expended to keep it that way; after a moment he just...drops it, his features settling into something more neutral, his tone pressured.]

I'm fine. Just as I told you I would be.

[Naki picks up right away, though it looks like he hasn't even bothered getting ready for the day. He's missing the copious amounts of eyeshadow and his hair is everywhere. He looks sleepy for a moment before he realizes who he's talking to.]

You--? You're okay!

[Naki smiles openly, looking absolutely thrilled.]

You're okay! I thought... Why didn't you get in contact with me until now!?

[Well, he switched gears fast.]

Ah, but you really do need to not worry so much! Everything is well here, and it seems everything has been resolved.

It has? Are you coming back soon?

[Just like that, any irritation is gone and Naki just looks confused.]

[He glances at something off in the distance for a moment before returning his attention to the device.]

I spoke to a few people that were here and they mentioned "Tohjo Falls"...?

Tohjo Falls? Never heard of it. Do you think it's far away?

I'd think that goes without saying, monsieur, since neither of us have even heard about it before now.

[He pauses for a moment; considers. There are a lot of reasons for him to just leave it there, and it'll certainly be decidedly easier if he does.

After a moment's deliberation, he presses on with it anyway.]

You seem...better now. Are you all right?

[Naki looks confused rather than upset. He looks like he's going to elaborate on that, before instead he changes his mind.]

[He tried super-hard and got literally nowhere, it was excellent, and he'll probably never do that through his own volition again.

However, now that he's already gone and done it this time...well. He's never really sure what to do with this pattern that he and Naki tend to fall into; the man seems to like repetitive reassurance and generally receiving the verbal equivalent of having his hair stroked, and that is something Tsukiyama is neither accustomed to nor good at, to put it lightly. As it is, he notices the pause, though he isn't sure if he wants to draw attention to it; ultimately, he decides against it. If it's terribly important, it'll come out eventually.]

I do hope you apologized to that poor receptionist at the hotel.

Hah! Are you kidding? That asshole muscled in on my conversation to tell me unimportant shit! Why would I apologize to him?
