(Meridiana, you probably want this one.)
"Ah, amore, it seems I've missed you; do leave something for me and we'll see if we can rectify that, shall we?"

Unless I do something particularly amazing, I likely won't be remembered for that aspect of my life, either.

Not even in high school.

Of course, I guess that begs the question of whether or not you want to be remembered at all, doesn't it?

...And since altruism doesn't seem to be your thing, I'm assuming that means it's more like "what matters is what you do for yourself while you're alive". Right?

How horrible it sounds to put it that way, Jaeger-san!
[i mean he's not going to deny it any but]

So maybe you can tell me a better way of phrasing it?

[Although incidentally, desserts with cheese are actually sorta gross?
...look, somebody's a philistine and it isn't him, let's put it that way, but moving on...]
That, in the end, is what matters - whether I find it for myself or someone ultimately presents it for me, who can say? The fulfillment itself is what matters. Whether I'm remembered or not doesn't matter, because I'll be gone - I just want to live while I have the opportunity to do so.

[look apparently someone's going to die on a hill today AND HE HAS CHOSEN THIS ONE]
You wouldn't put cheese on that, it's disgusting.

[He's been largely avoiding the things that look like they'll kill him and those are sort of on the "Not...sure if I will actually die, what is this crap" list.]

Have you never had an ice cream sundae?
voice;
voice;
How about a calzone? Ever had one of those?

I'm half-tempted to buy you lunch, random stranger I misdialed out of the blue.

I'm in Goldenrod City.

Apparently it found a way.

How about in front of the baseball stadium in twenty minutes, and I'll be "man in red sunglasses reading a copy of A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swadloon".
